Important

This method is not recommended for users without high speed internet access.
This install should not be run on Client machines – only Servers or Stand Alone machines.
Client machines must be out of PartSmart while this install takes place.

Instructions

Step 1. Click on this link: Get PS8.6.
Step 2. Your browser will open a window asking you to Save or Run (or Cancel). Select Save. (This will download the install program to your machine) Be sure to note the directory where the file is saved. The default will be the Desktop.
Step 3. Double click on the file called PS86.exe on your desktop. If you are asked to verify the publisher, select Run. Files will be extracted by default to a folder c:\PS86.
Step 4. Click on the Start button and select Run. Browse to the c:\PS86 folder and select setup.exe. Click on the Run button.

Follow the prompts for the install which should update the version of the PartSmart application on the machine to version 8.6.46.

License Key: You should not need to supply a license key during the install. When you launch PartSmart, if your key is out of date, you will be prompted for the license key.
