The PartSmart Data Manager is a software tool that lets Manufacturers and other Parts Supply companies perform
catalog updates for PartSmart Web™, PartSmart 8™ and PartSmart Classic™ by their own staff.
Rather than sending changes to ARI's Data Management group, they make their own changes in-house,
and can preview the changes using a copy of PartSmart Web that they run internally for this
purpose. Companies that license PartSmart Web to run on their own server can update
their online system as frequently as they like. If ARI hosts a company's PartSmart Web,
they send ARI a copy of their updated database and file library, and we apply
the changes to the server. When a company wants to update their data for PartSmart 8 or Classic, we’ll
use their latest PartSmart Data Manager update to create them.
