1Why are license keys so long?
The license keys are electronically programmed to activate your Partsmart Pro installation and your subscribed manufacturers. They are also designed so that the OEMs you have are active as long as your subscription lasts. The more manufacturers and varied expiration dates you have, the longer the keys will be. You may contact our sales department at 1-800-755-6040 and speak to your sales rep to see if there is a way to consolidate your OEMs to one expiration date. This may shorten your license key somewhat.
2Are license keys case-sensitive?
NO. They are not case-sensitive, nor are the dashes printed with the keys required to enter the key and make it work.
