1Why do hotspots appear as different colors in the illustration window?
The illustration viewer creates the hotspot regions to appear as semi-transparent overlays to the actual image. Since images may consist of many colors, using a fixed color is not a good idea, because the hotspot would be invisible when placed on an image area of the chosen color.
2I tried to install the Empart database, but got the message "Data file not found on CD".
This error is common if the Empart data did not get moved to the hard drive successfully. You can simply insert the Empart Data CD. If you want the data stored on the hard drive, you will need to rerun the TradeRoute install and follow the prompt when it asks for you to insert the Empart data CD of loading to the hard drive.
